New Castle is located in the known "banana belt" area as the locals call it. Located close to hiking, biking, fishing and golfing and a short drive to the Flattops recreation area. You will find world class skiing within about one hour drive to Vail or Aspen or Sunlight Ski area. Only 15 minutes to the world reknown Glenwood Springs Hot Springs and Vapor Caves.
The temperature is milder in the winter and the town offers lots of history with many of the historic buildings still in place. Everything you need is located right here and the town has so much character.
